In addition to the three kids she had to care for, Angela was facing a whole other set of problems nobody even knew about. And all of them began with A- and ended on -lex.
"Looking good tonight, Angela!" There it was again, this undertone in his voice that she couldn't quite define.
"Are you trying to flirt with me?"
She knew she actually looked like she hadn't slept for three days and had been crying a lot because that was what had happened. The whole situation was just too much for her. Alex didn't seem to care much, though.
