1.8 Everything costs money

There were so many points that cost money that Viljo hadn't really thought about when he got himself into this. First of all, he had to feed three people with his meager salary now.

All the dining out and attending events for networking also was way more expensive than he had anticipated.

The cats were a whole different story. Not only did they net food and cat litter, they also got sick from time to time and those vets did not even give Daniel an ex-colleague discount.

One day, a cooking accident resulted in a small kitchen fire and they had to buy a new stove. Catarina took these things very lightly, but Viljo started to get worried. How were they supposed to pay for all of this?

Luckily, Daniel was pretty handy when it came to repairing stuff, so at least they could keep those expenses to a minimum.

But they had to pay phone and internet bills. Not to mention Daniel's child support and his activities with his kids, like the birthday party he threw for Kevin on his 14th birthday.

He also went on some dates with Gina, his daughter Brigitte's mother in law, preferably to the Burger place where his ex-wife Annika worked as a waitress.

It got to the point where the electricity and water got turned off at the orphanage, because they couldn't keep up with the bills anymore. Viljo was devastated.

So he called for a crisis meeting. They had to find better ways to make money, or their dream would be over very soon.
