1.24 A family affair

Of course Angela still visited her family. Her Dad Willi had recently passed away and Alex, her brother-in-law, often called her over when her brothers Willi jr. and Inigo were feeling down. For Inigo, the situation was especially tough. At 16, he was the baby of the family and had still be very young when their Mom had passed away. Now he had lost his Dad, too, and his sister had moved out.



They would often sit together as a family and talk about Willi, remembering funny stories about his life. The adults stayed up late at night with some bottles of wine and reminisced.



At one of these gatherings, Angela ended up in a deep drunken conversation with Alex when everybody else had already gone to bed. It seemed to Angela like he was the only stable person there to talk to at the moment with her brothers being struck by grief and Maja and the kids still angry about her leaving.



She couldn't recall how the situation developed exactly when she thought about it later. A big part of it must have been the alcohol.




Alex was a bit taken aback by the kiss but he was just as drunk as Angela.




"Alex, what did we just do?"
"Do you really want me to explain?"
"You're a gay man and you are married to my brother. I am 100% lesbian, married to one woman, crushing on another. What just happened?"
"I'm just as confused as you are, Angela. Maybe we should forget this ever happened?"



That was probably the best idea they had had all night. While Alex drifted off to sleep, Angela snuck into the bathroom to take a shower before she took on the walk of shame.
