2.1 New responsibilities

Charlotte felt like she had grown up over night. All the fights about chores and homework seemed so pointless now. She had always wished for a Dad and she was angry at herself for not realizing in time how much Viljo had been just that.

She promised herself that she would do everything to become the daughter he had seen in her all along. She immediately took on the role of big sister for Johannes.

Angela was clearly overwhelmed with the birth of her son, the sole custody for three minors and the management of an institution, all of which were kind of dumped on her at once. So Charlotte helped with the administrative work as much as she could.
