1.31 After all

"It's good you don't understand any of this yet, Johannes. You probably won't even remember Catarina when you grow up. So you can't miss her like I do." Viljo was rocking the baby boy in his arm while feeding him with a bottle.



Then suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his left side. At first he thought it was a muscle cramp from holding the baby too long. He managed to put him back in the crib before he noticed that his left side went numb. When his legs gave in, he fell to the floor.



When Angela stepped into the nursery half an hour later in search of Viljo, she found him lying on the floor. Johannes was crying in his crib.



She took her son up in her arms. "Well", she said, "looks like I'll have to be a Mom after all."
