Characters

Viljo Davis is a young adult who is interested in everything and everyone and soaks up knowledge like a sponge. He is a family man and passionate about art. He's always looking at the bright side and very optimistic. Viljo was left at an orphanage when he was a baby, so he knows nothing about his ancestry. He works in the culinary career.

Catarina Lynx grew up in Brindleton Bay and at the beginning of our story she's a young adult living there alone with her four cats Doc, Cleo, Josie and A. Bartholomew Bittlebun Jr. She loves animals, especially cats, and they seem to love her. Other than that she enjoys a tasty meal and a good book. When we meet her, she works as a caterer in the culinary career. 

Daniel Völl moved to Willow Creek with his family when he got a job as a veterinarian at the nearby Brindleton Bay Pawspital. When we meet him, he is an adult, married to his wife Annika. They have a teenage daughter, Brigitte, and a kid son, Kevin. Daniel is a very open guy who makes new friends easily. Even though his self confidence and snobbism come off as arrogant sometimes, he is a goodhearted guy and only wants the best for humans and animals alike.

Ben Davis was the first orphan to come live at Planting Trees Orphanage after he'd survived his parents in a house fire. He has grown into a creative teenager overflowing with crazy ideas.

Charlotte Davis is the second child to come live at Planting Trees. She is a bit older than Ben. Her upbringing before was rather rough and turned her into the cynic pessimist she is now. Charlotte likes being on her own, preferably while jogging around the neighborhood or working out.

Angela Krämer quickly becomes a good friend of Catarina's. When we meet her, she is an adult who lives in her family's mansion in Willow Creek with her Dad Willi and her brothers Willi jr. and Inigo. Willi jr. is married to Alex who also lives with them as do Angela's wife Maja and their two adopted teens Elena and Dominik. Angela is used to an affluent lifestyle, enjoying good food and art as well as a good party. She is easy to talk to and loves to be around people.

Johannes Krämer is Angela's son from her affair with her brother-in-law Alex. He is the most joyful and charming toddler, spreading love throughout the orphanage.
 



Otto Meier is Viljo's son from a one night stand with Hannah Meier, née Brandenburg. Hannah (and her new husband Lyndon) didn't want to keep the baby, so Angela raises him at the orphanage. Otto is a fussy kid who doesn't understand why everybody seems to like Johannes better than him.
